We Were There

Since 1973, when AVCOM was born in the basement of Advertising Inc., then one of Oklahoma’s premier marketing agencies, we have created and staged hundreds of local, regional, and national conventions, and scripted, shot, and edited thousands of videos for name brand companies nationwide.

Taking the company independent in 1981, Chuck Halliburton, Owner and President, inherently knew that audiences may not remember what you say or do, but they’ll always remember how you made them feel. Whether the production is meant for your employees or your customers, the AVCOM philosophy is to build on and enhance the brand’s equity and image in a way to make the audience feel inspired by the moment.

  • When Oklahoma kicked off its Centennial Celebration in downtown Tulsa, filling the streets with over 40,000 onlookers being treated to the largest outdoor video projection ever seen in the nation, We Were There.
  • When Sonic Industries founder, Troy Smith, addressed an audience of 3,000 Sonic Restaurant franchisees via satellite at their 50th Anniversary convention in Hawaii, We Were There.
  • When Lee Iacocca announced to the Board of Directors at Chrysler that they had just purchased Thrifty Car Rental, and it was patched into the Thrifty Convention in San Antonio, We Were There.
  • When Chester Cadieux, co-founder of QuikTrip, walked on stage to kickoff the 50th Anniversary of QuikTrip,
    We Were There.

Our history is tied to the history of our clients. Let us help you with your next historic moment! We’ll Be There.
